Integrative Health coaching is not just about your physical wellbeing, it is also about you as a whole person: your values, goals, work, balance, fulfillment, and life purpose. Through the coaching process, clients typically reach various goals, improve their performance and enhance their quality of life. We use reporting, exploring, and a consistent commitment to action to move forward. This proactive working relationship will accelerate your progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice.
During our first session we will design our alliance (how we will work together), which may include desire for transparency, no games, choosing to be candid and encouraging the best in each other. I believe two core characteristics for effective coaching are providing a safe place where you can take the risks you need to take and having a courageous place where you are able to approach your life and your choices with motivation, curiosity and creativity! Other qualities that characterize a safe and courageous environment are confidentiality, trust, speaking the truth, being open and commitment. If there is anything else you wish to say about how you want me to coach you, and what tools and structures you want me to bring-please share them at the beginning of our sessions. You will help me gain understanding of who you are, what you wish for in your life, and what I am to hold for you as your vision.
What you need to do before our first session:
Before our first session, you’ll need to work through several pages of homework as the first part of our intake process. In order to maximize our time together, please spend some time giving the homework careful thought. We will be working with this information in our first session. It is meant to spark your thought process for our first call, and begin to set the foundation we’ll be working from.
Please bring the signed coaching agreement form to our first session and if possible, email me the Current & Desired States Questionnaire and Coaching Prep Form prior to our first session. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions while filling out the forms.
